Martina Etienne

Martina Etienne, born in Gelsenkirchen in 1957, lives and works in Düsseldorf. After studying drawing and illustration at the Folkwang School in Essen, she has been intensely dedicated to depicting "in-between spaces" since resuming her artistic work in 1998.

In her pencil and colored pencil drawings, silent snapshots of transience emerge – states between presence and dissolution. Her works include still lifes, landscapes, and miniatures, opening up a quiet yet poignant visual world for the viewer.

Martina Etienne's works are held in private collections in Germany, Australia, New York, China, and India.
