Summer Raindrop is a series of hand-embroidered miniature artworks by Silvija Kicivoj, inspired by the soft, organic shapes of individual summer raindrops.

Each piece is meticulously hand-embroidered with yarn on raw canvas and is entirely one of a kind. Subtle variations in shape and stitching make every artwork unique and highlight its handcrafted character.

The vibrant colors create calm, modern accents and can be displayed individually or combined as a small collection.

The artwork is delivered unframed, allowing it to be displayed or framed according to your personal preference.

Silvija Kicivoj

Silvija Kicivoj, born in Zagreb in 1989, has lived and worked in Düsseldorf since 2008.

Silvija's works are created in the interplay between inner and outer worlds. She explores interpersonal relationships, emotional reactions, and the impact of her surroundings. Her works revolve around themes such as self-perception, change, balance, and the need to give deeper meaning to everyday experiences.

Through clear forms, finely placed lines, and a deliberate choice of materials, she translates thoughts and feelings into a tangible, visual language. Structure, surface, and atmosphere play just as important a role as content. The works do not invite quick interpretation – they appear quiet and restrained, unfolding their depth in dialogue with the viewer.
