Window 1 is the first artwork in a new series exploring the window as a symbolic and visual threshold between different dimensions: between interior and exterior, closeness and distance, the visible and the invisible.

The window represents not only a physical transition, but also a moment of perception and reflection – a place where light, space, and imagination merge.

On a naturally toned canvas, a finely structured textile composition unfolds through carefully placed lines and relief-like layers of material. The vertical arrangement of the textile elements creates a calm, almost architectural order, reminiscent of modern façades, Japanese shoji elements, or minimalist spatial structures.

Due to the natural qualities of the materials, the surface changes with the shifting light. Shadows, textures, and subtle elevations emerge, allowing the artwork to reveal new details throughout the day. The textile structure adds a unique tactile quality to the reduced composition, connecting traditional craftsmanship with contemporary abstract art.
